A natural mutation discovered in Brazil in 1820. Named for the 'navel' formation at the blossom end.
Bright orange, thick pebbly skin, with a characteristic navel-like secondary fruit at one end.
Sweet, rich, and juicy with low acidity and no bitterness.
Segments are easy to separate. Seedless and meaty.
The premier eating orange. Not ideal for juice as it contains Limonin which turns bitter over time.
